ALL SCHOOLS SPECIAL NEEDS
AT A GLANCE
Here at All Schools Special Needs, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. Our decision making process is informed by comprehensive empirical studies and high quality data evaluation. We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all of our pursuits.
OUR MISSION
Our Mission is to assist special needs children in the Ridgefield Park community with physical and medical equipment, educational supplies, technology, daily care, field trips and other resources that they normally would not be able to obtain for varying reasons including cost and availability. Our board includes Ridgefield Park staff and faculty and contributes to the fostering of a special relationship between our group and teachers, administrators and parents of the special needs children in our community.
OUR ASPIRATION & VISION
In 2012 we started fundraising to help local children within the Ridgefield Park, New Jersey school system with Autism gain valuable tools to help subsidize their underfunded classrooms. Since that
time, we have raised over $225,000.
With the funds raised we have purchased the items below:
-
14 Smart Boards along with laptops and installation
-
70 iPads with cases and iTunes money to purchase apps
-
A playground for special education children equipped with Sensory equipment (added additional $10,000 in equipment spring 2019)

-
Two $1000 Scholarship to graduating seniors every year since 2015
-

-
Changing tables, diaper pails, carpets for our Pre-k classrooms

That is just the highlight reel, there really is so much more!!! We have a clear vision of what we plan to establish in the future. Our goals include a home for these children when they age-out of the great programs they are currently enrolled in within the schools. A place where they can go daily to obtain work, socialize and continue learning.
OUR FUNDRAISING EFFORTS
Our board members are realist and we know what we are trying to do is no small feat. This is why we have three fund raising efforts each year.
-
Casino Nite - This exciting event features live music, food, cash bar, and an array of casino tables with great prizes to win! Our first Casino Night Charity Event was a big success and funds raised went towards technology equipment for the schools. The Casino Nights that have followed have been more successful
and all of the proceeds go towards the Ridgefield Park Public Schools Special Needs programs. -
Golf Outing - Our golf tournament held during the late summer is a fun day of golf, friends, volunteers, food and drinks followed by an amazing dinner and tricky tray event. The money raised from the golf outing will fund our long-term aspirations and goals of creating a place for these young adults to go. The event is a lot of fun, with great people and prizes and all for a great cause.
